Aspen - Day 1
Hey, you guys.
We arrived in Aspen tonight. The air is so thin up here I’m getting dizzy just typing. We’re performing our twenty minute set on Thursday and Friday afternoon as part of an internet-themed show called Broadband Theater, featuring JibJab and Jonathan Coulton, and Caleb signed us all up for a snowboarding race on Saturday (FYI- none of us have ever snowboarded before), but the rest of the time, we’re going to relax and enjoy the festival.
I’m not sure what we get free passes to and what’s going to be too popular for me to sneak into — our orientation is tomorrow morning– but the big shows I’m really looking forward to are Mary Lynn Rajskub’s stand-up, an opening night screening of Waitress, and Fat City Lounge, a late-night variety show.
I’m also looking forward to exploring the town a little bit, something we didn’t get to do today because we spent most of it traveling. Click here for a video description of our day.

How cool could it be if I’m not there? There will always be that hollow feeling in your hearts and that coppery taste in your mouth with my heartbreaking absence.
Or so I’d like to think. Have a good show!

Did Adam finally get a pair of boots?
I hope there will be more video descriptions of days to come. And pictures of this snowboard race, perhaps?
Have a great time, you guys!

$10 says Adam comes back without boots, and with one fewer pair of functioning sneakers. May your set be infinitely less shitty than your trip. Have fun

Don’t you need boots to snowboard?
Unless he borrows some…
Adam, you sneaky bootless maniac!

You can rent snowboarding boots. They are different from regular snowboots, anyway.

oh, and ben and raizin would totally seem like a gay couple if raizin hadn’t mentioned adam being his roomate.
