The music from the end of Communication Problems was a Depeche Mode song. Unfortunately I can't remember the name anymore.

Listen to the two versions of the songs on iTunes Music Store and tell me which one sounds more like the version in the sketch. It is B2K, unless iTunes is incorrect.

Hey everyone,
the Van Morisson song off of "Dearest Isabella" is "Cyprus Avenue" off of Van's best album, "Astral Weeks".

Good looks,
Tav

P.S. Yes, it's WAY better than Moondance.

Thomas Newman, assorted <piano bits during Pregnancy>

If you want to get very specific, the second clip is either "Brooks Was Here" or "Compass and Guns" (both from Shawshank Redemption).

How do you guys find/pick music for the sketches? Are they mostly songs you know or do you search for them? What is the main way you get them?

If we're going through a period of not worry about copyright infringement, we'll just use songs we know that match the emotion of what we're trying to communicate.

If we're being paranoid, we'll search creative commons websites, hoping to find suitable songs that allow derivative works. (The first way is more fun.)

Have you ever posted the mp3 for the chipmunk intro?

If not then you should, it's a nice piece of work.

People always ask for that. All you have to do is download the intro as a quicktime movie. Then open the file in iTunes. Then in iTunes, convert the track into AAC. I think the same effect is achieved.

How do you save a quicktime movie in iTunes? Whenever I try nothing ever happens.

You don't save it in iTunes, you open it with iTunes. The audio will play.

Right click on the movie icon, scroll down to Open with- and then choose iTunes.

Can anyone do this who has windows? Or does it only work on mac. I think it's mac, and I was going to yell about macs after getting a response. But the brownie I had mellowed me out (no it is NOT a pot brownie!) so I don't care one way or the other now.

I'm with Ben on this one. PC users think they know everything, but when faced with the glory of a sleek single button mouse their heads explode.
