edit: Nevermind.

Sweet potatoes.

After that, stuffing, but not the box kind.

when my mom makes rolls out of her bread dough from the bread she makes, and then you make sandwiches from turkey and ham and such.

My uncle is, hands down, the best cook I've ever had cook for me (sorry Lily). And he makes T-giving dinner. So it's all good.

You were cooking. And you made me not one, not two, but three crepes. I was hungry.

I actually don't like turkey because it makes me so sleepy. It feels like some sort of trap.

i just talked to my sister, who is in charge of desserts, and she said she bought an apple pie and chocolate silk pie. what the hell, no pumpkin? she's gonna get hunted down.

but i looooove apple pie and mashed sweet potatoes and both of those will be present and accounted for so i'm happy.

This year teh uncle made this sweet potato casserole that was probably the best thing I've ever eaten that involved sweet potatoes.

At the dorm Thanksgiving my friend arranged the marshmallows on the sweet potatoes in a smiley face. It was cute.

I just roasted marshmallows over a fire in the backyard. That was yummy.

if i had a backyard, i'd totally build a fire and roast marshmellows on it.

I like my marshamallows actually on fire. It adds texture.

it does add texture, but then the inside of the marshmellow is still completely uncooked and the two don't mix well.

The texture's interesting but I don't like the flavor of the burnt crust. I prefer my marshmallows golden brown.

But it is a lot of fun waving a marshmallow around when it's on fire.

I leave mine on fire until the inside actually melts. It's more of an art than a science.

(Plus I have no patience).

Marshmallows make me want to die. I can only eat them as that weird cream inside S'mores pop tarts--that's all.

I had a vegetarian thanksgiving. And let me tell you,

Tofurkey in so large a quantity is revolting.

Why would vegetarians want to eat something called Tofurkey? Isn't the point of vegetarianism that you don't want to eat animals? Why eat something that even resembles an animal? I've never understood it. Veggie-burgers? Why?
