haha i honestly do think i have enough christmas music to last me until maybe st. patrick's day! i...i really like christmas music. (if you guys have cool christmas songs please please do share around here it is the season of giving after all~ ♥)

sarah: version, i am obsessed with that radiohead cover everyone else listened to 2 years ago, which do you prefer? here comes the fuzz seems like the chill, mature hip cousin to version's hyper little kid!!

here guys i-i love you ♥ elvis presley - white christmas

(i don't care if you have heard this a million times it is not christmas without elvis presley's christmas album and we all have all listened to the sufjan stevens!!)

Are you serious???? You think Here Comes the Fuzz is chill? That's my pregaming album! And Ronson's gotten so much slicker with Version, I don't know how you can say that Here Comes the Fuzz is more mature.

and, I forgot to answer your question. I don't really have a preference, it depends on what I'm in the mood for. They're very different albums. The individual songs on Version are great but as an album, Here Comes the Fuzz is more coherent.

I will share! I only have one Christmas album, but it's wonderful - Vince Guaraldi's soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Are you serious? It's Finnish Viking metal.

I think he was being facetious. That said, both genres (real or imagined) sound fuckin' insane.

Yeah, it's real. And it is pretty crazy, a sort of mix of folk metal and symphonic metal, with frequent use of flutes, violins and piccolos, and the emphasis of the lyrics being Nordic themes and epic tales of olde. Turisas dress like Vikings on stage as well.
As for Old School Latin Pop, I have no idea if that's real or imagined.

I was making a reference to the fact that it was in actual Latin not the Latin we may be familiar with today in music. Whatever - I obviously failed miserably.

If you want to hear fantastic heavy metal, might I suggest Meshuggah? They're crazy.
