There's probably a thread about Radiohead somewhere but I didn't want to look. Their new album came out today at a price of however much you want to pay, and I'm wondering if other people have listened to it. It's not that long so I've played through it a couple times. I like it, but I had really high expectations and none of the songs are really memorable. I say that now, but they're a band where I never really liked anything of theirs the first couple times i heard them, but they grew on me a LOT.

Anyways, anyone else a fan?

How much did you pay? I'm thinking 3 pounds.

That site is confusing and slow. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Ok, I was missing the 'update basket' button. I paid 4 pounds ($8 ) plus the 45p, one dollar, fee thingy. I'll be listening to them in a bit.

This confuses me. I messed with it twice and lost interest both times.

The site. I haven't gotten that far. I figure if it's worth a listen someone will make me borrow it/it'll get played on XM.

Radiohead is boring and repetative for me.
I wont get the new album because I already own Kid A, and OK Computer.
The fact they're letting people pay what they want is a really shitty stab at free publicity, and is pretty pretentious in my opinion.

Well, the New York Times was all ready to lay the sacrificial virgins down at Radiohead's feet for doing this.

I probably exaggerate. But the Times article didn't really air any opposing opinions, and just kept touting the quotes about it being a "revolution" and how Radiohead was sticking it to the man.
