For a while (after this sketch was filmed, bizarrely enough), Adam actually did work at a fruit stand. He sold apples, apple pie, apple cider…really every conceivable apple product. He was fired after a week or so for sleeping through his alarm.

Ben forgot my favorite part of the story, which is that while working at the apple stand I was entirely broke, and lived solely on apples, apple donuts, and apple cider. Until I got fired, after which I lived on dirt.

it’s a waltz by django reinhardt, i forget the name of it. yes, django reinhardt is amazing, just like the sketch.

The song is “Minor Swing”, by Django Reinhardt. Fun fact: because of a childhood accident, two of Django Reinhardt’s left fingers were permanently paralyzed — yet he could still play this goddamn song.

If you look carefully, when he’s putting the orange peel back on, pieces are flying up from the ground and onto the orange. :o
The part with the juice always makes me laugh. XD

I downloaded quicktime just to see this, and I hate quicktime. I have to say it was worth it. This is a very funny short. I look forward to seeing more from these guys.
