Please continue to push yourselves with daily sketches. It’s really incredible, and even inspirational, to see you move from infrequently published clips to consistantly brilliant, regular shorts. Moreover, the improvement visible in the performances, writing, ideas, and production is phenomonal. For example, my first thought with “Don’t you Wish?” was that infomercials are an easy, though satisfying, target. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing entirely new either. The next thought was that even though it was an easy target, you managed to capture the mood and tone perfectly. It’s always suprising to see how many groups either can’t or don’t care enough to bother. It didn’t take long for the final revelation: this was totally original. And that is a great sort of suprise. Keep growing and keep challenging yourselves.
Wow Scott — that’s incredible! All our other cutaways are also available on http://www.archive.org — absolutely no prizes will be given to first person to identify the other videos we used!
That’s actually pretty clever the way you set up the doesn’t exist yet thing with how he actually said it in the beginning. “Would you like to?” Not “Buy this now” or anything.
“No, I don’t want to wait, I just - I just want the robot!”
“TOO BAD, THEY DON’T EXIST YET!”
Not as good as some of your others have been but still so good.
It is indeed our doing, TempName. We are experimenting with serving ads through Revver on a few videos. If you utterly object to a one-second still-frame ad being at the end of a video, you’re more than welcome to help pay our quite sizable hosting costs. :)
WOW!!! this is your best work ever!!! i got my friend hooked on Olde English based almost solely on this vedio!!! he laughed so freakin’ hard. by the way… is the guy’s name in this vedio Raizen? if not… what is his name?
I love how on the main page, the little descriptions of the sketch seem totally irrelevant to the name of the sketch… This one for example… I couldn’t imagine how “Don’t You Wish…” could be in any way connected to “That’s right, triple the teeth!” But you guys surprised me once again… OE kicks serious ass!
Hey, what happened to Raizin’s beard? oh well ha this one was pretty awsome. When the robots DO exsist, le’me know so i can buy one and not have anymore pan-hands.
Hello Guys, I’m a really big fan. I like the whole new sketch idea. It really shows that you guys are really comitted to the whole internet video era…So Thank YOu Guys
hysterical.
“are you making fun of me?”
if only there were a robot who could clean up all of those teeth for you!!
a hovercar would be cool, too. and a robot to drive it for you!
say goodbye to driving your own hovercar
that’s kick ass. I hate those kinds of commercials but this was well done. Adam’s voice sounded exactly how those commercials sound, which was quite hilarious.
I love the video.
But did anyone notice that exsist was spelt wrong in the end? It was “They don’t exist yet!”
Maybe I’ve just watched the video too times.
GREAT SKETCH!
I love this skecth. I haven’t seen this in forever. And now, in our modern technological advances, there really ARE robots that clean your floor (they’re remote controll vacuum cleaners)

WTF?? A movie ad at the end of the video? I hope that’s not of your doing, OE.

Ok, find an old song by Tom Waits called “Step Right Up”. Use it as an inspirational piece for another sketch. You guys are brilliant - keep it up.
August 9th, 2006 at 5:15 pm
I know Step Right Up — that’s a great song!
August 11th, 2006 at 5:21 am
Thank you for that so much. Nothing like seeing this in the middle of the night with all the infomercials on. You made my chest hurt. Thank you.
August 16th, 2006 at 2:50 pm
Haha, I loved the part where the bag of manure accidentally falls on the floor.
“NO WAIT, THERE’S MORE!” Hehe..
August 16th, 2006 at 7:39 pm
omg. where did you find that wonderful archival footage of the robot cleaning up the teeth-shards? I adore it.

I was just watching Hannity and Colmes, and a cheezy commercial came on that started with the words “Oh no!” and I immediately thought of Adam.

This reminded me of Steven the Vegan with the kitchen backdrop and the diaglogue between one ridiculous voice and one sane-er voice.
